Annet Mahendru

Mahendru's parents are Russian and a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. She speaks fluent German, Russian and English in addition to French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to a Russian father as well as an Indian mother, speaks fluently in both languages. She choreographed her 11 year old show that resulted in an German television appearance as the Russian Snow Maiden who transforms into a playful Indian Dancer. When she graduated from the high school level at the age of 11 in New York, she received her bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. After the high school year, she took acting classes at HB but left for improv in Groundlings School. She then performed in a variety of comedy roles. She was born to an Afghani Hindu Indian mother and a Russian father in Kabul, Afghanistan. The family moved together with their father to East Meadow, New York at the age of thirteen year old. She is a part of FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Television actress who plays an ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. The actress has a regular part in The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
